Indoor environmental quality in green certified office buildings

Abstract The presented paper deals with the assessment of selected indoor environmental quality (IEQ) factors, specifically parameters thermal comfort and air (IAQ), in two buildings a modern office complex. Both are LEED certified. monitoring IEQ risk factors took place spaces (cell open-space offices) representative all occupied areas under operating conditions. results real measurements IAQ indicate that monitored both did not exceed required limits set by certification system. measured were within permissible legislative Predicted Mean Vote (PMV) Percentage Dissatisfied (PPD) indices show suitable level can be expected given during their occupancy. Based on measurements, it stated actually meet criteria for guarantee healthy comfortable working environment occupants.
